Its all the same - here we go again. I have lost count at the number of operations I have actually had so I feel very comfortable with going into hospital and being knocked out....its a great sleep. Have never given any credence to those who say they knew what was going on....I just go into gaga land and enjoy the waking up at the end.
Then the questions start...I drive all the nursing staff and doctors nuts as I want to know everything they did and how they did it. I only wish they would take a video that I could watch, thank God I'm not squeamish as lots are.
I know they are doing the best they can to make me comfortable and the morphine drip is wonderous - only problem being that I float, hoover, and generally fly around the hospital don't stay still think I'm doing all sorts of stuff but have been told I am only lying in my bed sleeping - yeah rite!!!!
No food nor drink from midnight tonight but allowed to sip water until 2 hours before operation, it was scheduled for early but one of the surgeons is unavailable until the afternoon so I get to go in later, thank goodness as getting up at 5 a.m. wasn't really a cool thing to have to do. Now I can saunter up at around 9 a.m. there is a God/Gods in that heavenly body upstairs, I'm sure they assist me more than most as I'm constantly badgering them to help me.
Will let you know how I am when I get home as I'm not taking in the puters they won't work in there don't have the correct thingy to put into the side. But it will be nice to be email and web free for at least 24 hours. I'm hoping they don't find anything and I get to come home soon.
Sometimes they do work - I'm absolutely positive they put up a set of Welsh miners with lights on their hats to view my coal(on) lol.....arn't I cleaver? NOT
It feels that afterwards though but each hour you feel better, so be it if the miners have to use their pitchforks.....
